Our policies can be designed to meet your specific needs. You can cover either a single date, a series of appearances, or buy a year-round policy. Increasingly, performance venues require artists to carry liability insurance for negligence claims leading to bodily harm or property damage, whether caused by the artists or their fans. Even when performance venues don’t require it, many touring acts decide it is a good investment and a better alternative than settling a lawsuit out of their own pocket. A Tour policy with liability protects you against lawsuits alleging injuries or property damage as a result of your tour operations, subject to policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

Coverage cost depends on number of performances, type of show, venue capacity, expected attendance, foreign performances, special events and deductible options.

Coverage limits of liability start at:*

  • $1,000,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage
  • $1,000,000 per event aggregate
  • $1,000,000 annual aggregate

*Limits may vary depending on requests made by your contractual obligation(s).

Other options include:**

  • Workers’ Compensation to protect you and your employees (including independent contractors) in case someone is injured on the job
  • Nonowned & hired auto coverage for rental vehicles
  • Instruments coverage for your owned or rented items
  • Third-party property damage coverage in case you accidentally physically damage a rented space
  • Crime coverage for money that you have on the road
  • Cancellation coverage in case you need to cancel or postpone the show (can include cancellation due to weather)
  • Nonappearance coverage in case an act is too sick to perform or you’re worried the band won’t show up
